My mom bought me this bike for a birthday gift. I have wanted an ebike for a long time but kept holding off because I didn’t know which one to buy, and it’s a big purchase.

I got the bike, it took me about 2.5 hours to put together - pretty simple! The battery was full, I left it on for a minute to go get my shoes on and the “walking mode” turned on by itself so the bike jerked forward and I needed to take my battery out to get it to stop. This happened a couple of times. I reached out to the company, they answered quickly and gave me a few tips to try to fix it. None of them worked, so they sent me a new meter free of charge. When I received the meter, they sent me a video on how to switch it out - it was easy! It seems to be working just fine now. The bike goes FAST, it’s nicely made, and it is so fun. The customer service was top notch.

I plan on leaving another review in a few months once I get some miles on it.

P.S. you turn the headlight on by holding down the “up” arrow on the meter. ;). That is not in the instructions.

Update: I added 2 more pictures and some feedback from operating the bike. You can see that the bike build quality is excellent. Instructions and the linked video were very helpful in assembling the bike, which was simple anyway. All of the accessories aligned perfectly and work fine (fenders, derailleur, handle bars, brakes, cables, luggage shelf, etc). EV motor is powerful. My wife and I have been trying out both the PAS pedal assist, AND the direct throttle twist grip. The paint job is almost perfect. The tiny chipped paint spots near the chain were from shipping which I described below. I will easily fix with touchup paint. Customer service contacted me within a day to resolve the issue of the paint to my satisfaction. I’m happy with the bike as it is. I can recommend this company

Bike was very well packed. Lots of padding and plastic covers to protect the paint. However, from the photo, you can see that the one spot that didn’t have any plastic covering was the right wheel arm. When I unpacked the bike, the chain had come off the sprockets. The chain chipped the nice paint job in the spots shown. Perhaps add a zip tie to the chain or add another cover over this arm? Also, does Cybervelo have any touch up paint? If not, I’ll go to Autozone or Orielly’s and find something close. The bike is very well made. It was a piece of cake to assemble. The tools are a nice feature. Paint job is very nice (except for the dinged paint from the chain). I’m not taking off any stars because we like the bike so much. Runs great.

Extremely well made and easy to assemble. So many extras...cool tool kit, nifty tire pump, pretty much everything you need. Only issue I had was both fenders were bent during shipping. One I was able to straighten out, the other I contacted customer support for a replacement. Had an answer (will get a replacement) within 10 minutes! Amazing! Then couldn't figure out how to turn on the lights as there is nothing about lights in the manual...contacted customer support and again, within 10 minutes I had the answer: Turn on display, press the up arrow for about three seconds...Voila! Repeat to turn off lights.
Bike handles extremely well. The power assist does take a little getting used to but the learning curve is easy. I will mainly use the pedal assist, level one, it's that powerful, however, it's easy to ride even in the regular, no power mode so I can still get a workout. Brakes are excellent right out of the box. Seat is comfy and I like the more upright position the handlebars put you in. VERY FUN BIKE! I'm enjoying riding again, so happy I bought it!
Update: Received the replacement front fender and it's perfect. Truly amazing customer service - they follow through!

I am extremely pleased with the bike. It is an excellent value for the money. I feel I have the same quality bike as my friend who paid $500 more for hers at a bike shop. The battery life is good. The quality of the build is good. This is a great bike if you're going to be a casual to medium rider. I've used it extensively to ride around town in the past month. And we also went on a 20 mile bike ride. Good performance under both circumstances. The only issue is the installation was not easy. It probably would have been for someone that was used to putting bikes together. I was not used to putting bikes together. I actually took it to a local bike shop after I put it together and paid a bit to get it inspected. The instructions are not very clear. I had to do a lot of guess work screwing and unscrewing. However overall I'm very pleased with a bike as I said I feel I have as good a quality bike as my friend who paid almost $500 more. I'm very pleased with my purchase no regrets.

I ordered 2 bikes with the hopes that they were exactly what I was expecting. They were delivered days before the expected delivery date. First star. The “put together” was fairly easy. Of course the 2nd one was a bit easier with the practice of the first one. Not bad at all. 2nd star. We love the bikes. I am very impressed over the quality for the price we paid. We looked at bikes before we purchased these. Some very expensive. Super happy we purchased these. Cool looking and comfortable seats. 3rd star. The holder for my digital display was broke when I got it. Emailed the company and received response within 24 hours. 4th star. I provided pictures and was given a tracking number for the item within 24 hours. 5th star!!!!!!

This has been a great experience regarding my e-bike purchase from Cybervelo. The bike description was detailed and thorough. The delivery was extremely fast - 3 days. The customer support has been outstanding, with quick responses to my questions. I have no complaints whatsoever, and I couldn't be happier with the seller! The packaging was perfect, and the bike arrived in pristine condition except for a small dent in the fender that was caused by the shipper. Assembly instructions were clear. Outstanding customer service! A new replacement fender is on its way, and they have answered all of my questions promptly and professionally - a huge plus for me! The assembly took about an hour and a half, and after a minor adjustment to the front disc brake and adding some air to the tires, the bike was ready to ride. The bike performed flawlessly, and I have been very happy with how the motor's power got me (260 lbs) up the many long and steep hills where I live. The build quality is great, with thoughtful design and quality components. I am an extremely happy customer!

Let me start off with, this bike is great for the price. I use it almost every day and consistently get 25+ miles out of it, usually returning on just under half a battery. I use the throttle control more than most with just a little pedaling and it’s quick, easy to ride, and powerful. I only rated this 4 stars instead of 5 because I did need to swap the plastic pedals to some metal ones because they had too much flex when pedaling hard. Additionally, I swapped the handlebars for some mountain bike handlebars for my personal comfort. The seat shocks are excellent. The disk brakes needed some adjusting out of the gate but once I aligned them, I had no issues. I am six foot four inches tall and this bike is very comfortable to ride. Additionally, the brake light and headlight are very bright and give you the visibility needed for riding at night.

I’ve had my bike for only a week or 2 and have ridden it around my town a few times, so I can’t comment about the battery, except that it’s been great so far and is still pretty full. The shipping was faster than the estimated time, which was a fun surprise. So far, I am in love with this bike! It’s my first e-bike, though I’ve ridden friend's e-bikes before, so I have some experience. It was pretty easy to assemble (with the help of a friend who had assembled an e-bike before). It feels sturdy and safe and goes fast enough for me. Using the throttle alone going uphill doesn’t go too fast, but I didn’t really expect it to. The pedal assist going uphill is great though, it gives me a really nice boost. And the light pink color is super cute, I get a lot of compliments. Overall, I’m so happy with my purchase.

Great bike for the price! Excellent customer service for what turned out to be a minor issue. When it first came, I assembled it and realized that the battery did not fit into the bike. It would not lock and would keep popping out. I attempted to send it back but it would take up to 48 hours to get that approved so I contacted customer service and they responded overnight. There is a notch that can be carved a little bit so that the lock pin will fit into place. Worked great. The only reason I deducted one star is because the rear fender got so bent in shipping that it was not usable. Not a problem, I removed it and installed the rear rack and it's fully operational and looks great. Edit: front fender started rubbing against tire so that also had to be removed. However, function is still great.

This e-bike is awesome so far! Well built, fast and nice looking! Customer service is top notch! We had an issue with the battery not locking on one of the two bikes so I emailed them and they responded within a couple of hours. Asked me to send photos, which I did. They quickly responded to that with instructions on what to do and it worked great with just a little bit of dremel on the opening that the lock latch goes in. Super impressed! We are having so much fun riding them!

This bike arrived early, and it was easy to assemble. The display bracket was cracked from shipping (which was no big deal) customer service got back to me within 24 hours and sent me a new one. Excellent customer service!! If you’re looking for a really good e-bike and don’t want to spend thousands of dollars, this is the bike for you!! You won’t be disappointed.

These things are fast! They can go up to 25 MPH. The batteries are long lasting, We rode 10 miles and didn't use hardly any of the battery. The ride is comfortable and you can adjust the front shocks easily. We really like them and have been using them almost daily.

The bike was delivered on time according to what was determined when I ordered it. The only problem I had was with the shipment carrier (not Amazon.) Due to the cost it had to be signed for and they told me for three days it was to be delivered that day so we ended up having to sit at home for three days waiting for delivery.
The packaging was impressive. No idea how one of the fenders could have gotten dented. I contacted the seller via email to discuss the discrepancy. Emily, the individual I communicated with was very courteous and immediately send a replacement. Unfortunately our frigid weather hasn't allowed me much opportunity to ride. My husband assembled it without issue so I could take a quick spin to ensure all was in working order and it is all it was advertised to be. The power is amazing as it will take me up our steep/long driveway without effort. It is a very comfortable ride with the shock absorbing saddle. The handlebars can be elevated high enough that I can sit up straight. Easy to mount and dismount even for a 5'1" person. Besides that the blue is quite pretty. Very satisfied, can't wait for the weather to improve so I can take it for a long ride!

I purchased this bike in part due to reviews saying good customer service due to the fact I haven't ever owned an e-bike and haven't used a bike in about 30 years. Well I've tried e-mailing Cybervelo 3 times via E-mail and gotten no response regarding my wobbly front wheel. They only have a Phone number online that I can't call so the customer service seems to be non -existent. Too bad because it seems like a nice bike. Not an easy item to return,if it were I'd have to return it because it's unusable right now. I'm going to call amazon customer service and see if they can help. UPDATE I've revised my review to reflect that the company made it right in the end and ended up sending me a new wheel.I haven't received it yet but I'm sure I will. I only wish the communication had worked out better, e-mails did not reach them apparently. Thank you cybervelo for making things right. Kevin The bike itself seems to be great.

Pedal assist works great. Once you get it going it kicks in & when you coast it turns off. Looks & feels like a much more expensive bike. Be sure to look for YouTube videos on brake adjustments if you are unfamiliar with disk brakes.

I was impressed that the amount of final assembly was relatively small compared to other vendor's packages. My only comlaint would be that I wish that the seat could be lowered just an inch or so lower so I could get both my legs on the ground at once for support when not riding. The shock absorbing seat mount is great, but I would trade it for a solid mount that is shorter.

Very nice bike. My wife is very happy with it. The only thing I recommend if you don’t know much about putting a bike together or how it should be pay a professional to relook at it. When the bike came in things needed to be adjusted. I payed a professional $ 100 to pretty much put the rest together, lube everything and to make sure it all was adjusted properly. Well worth it.

It’s a good idea to watch the assembly video. The written instructions don’t have the best translation into English. Very powerful motor. Arrived in about two weeks in perfect condition. Well done to Cybervello.

I was surprised at the cost of most brands for an electric bike and decided to do a quick search for unknown brands on Amazon to see what was out there. So glad I did! I came across the cybervelo bike and for the cost decided to give it a try. I love this bike! Upon delivery I had an issue with one plug not working properly- customer service responded within hours and replaced the part. I am a cybervelo fan for life and love my bike!

I had a few issues when the next one arrived, but customer service addressed everything super quickly. VERY SATISFIED. These are good quality, go fast and ride very well. We bought them to take while traveling on our rv trips. Great bikes and a great company to work with!

Sent an email to the bike company with a couple of pictures, had a new one in less than a week. Every satisfied with these bikes. We've ridden them about a 100 miles. I would recommend them highly.

So far, pretty good product for the price. It’s a little complicated putting together and the directions aren’t clear but that seems to be an industry wide issue. The front brake assembly was not attached to the front fork. Waiting to hear from the company on directions. It does come with decent tools . I haven’t ridden it yet. I will come back in several months to update the performance.
Update: The bike is well made and I have a little bit mechanical ability which is helpful. The company does need to rewrite the instructions. Having said this, it is the fourth e-bike I have assembled and this one was a lower cost (by several hundred dollars) and solidly put together. Also a good response from customer service.
