   The Caterpillar rep at the International Builders Show in Las Vegas last week told me that the mower comes with a larger and a smaller battery. My delivery only had one battery. Where’s the other smaller back-up battery?

   I love the simple design of this mower and I picked this CAT more for looks than great reviews. I have only used the mower 2 times. I can say it's very sturdy and everything works as designed. I used the bag the first mowing and it did a great job of picking up the grass and the design of the bag keeps grass from dropping out when you remove it from the mower. The second mowing I let it mulch and I am just now realizing I should have selected mulch...opps. It mulched really well as I saw no clippings laying on the grass. I have now mowed 1/4 acre and the battery is 1/2 done so that works for me. As far as quality of the cut I feel it did an ok job. I have tried 3 electric mowers now and they simply do not cut as well as a gas mower. Maybe the EGO Power mowers do. The cut is not totally crisp. Will I keep the mower? I'm not sure yet though I know I want to. UPDATE.....I have now mowed my 1/4 acre yard 4 times.....3 times the front and once the back. So much rain fall I have not been able to get to the back. After all that I still have 3 out of 4 bars showing on the battery. I have never heard the engine rev up and wonder if it even has that feature in heavy grass. I like the mower....again the cut is good but not great. Will probably keep it because I like buying things that few others buy.....not a smart way to look at it but I like the under dog. FINAL UPDATE......I returned the mower today. I was sad because CAT made a great attempt at a cool mower. I bought a Greenworks 80v mower that was a hair cheaper but I just wanted to see if the cut would be better and it was.....not by much but I had to go with Greenworks. CAT.....improve the cut and I might be back.

   This is my unbiased VINE review for CAT 60V Self-Propelled Lawn Mower (Battery & Charger Included) Like many this is our first non-gasoline mower and have been very impressed with the ease of use and performance of this battery operated model. It has a sleek design, lightweight and compact to store between uses.
   
   What we love:.
   Comes fully assembly just adjust handle knobs to place in position house.
   
   The battery had a charge, simply push a button to start.
   
   Easy to Adjust the blade height by pushing a handle.
   
   The mower self propel feature eliminates the need to push, truly effortless.
   
   Easy to store.
   
   My only wish is that it came with 2 batteries as would be efficient to have a back up at the ready as if not fully charged may not be able to complete the full yard. You may or may not need an additional battery to do your yard on one charge and even if you do need to purchase another this is a great product for all the reasons listed above.

   has spot for two batteries.
   Rated 4 stars because it should come with two batteries for the price.
   Smaller backup battery should be included to use while charging.

   This lawn mower charges relatively quickly and lasts long enough to mow my small lawn. The blade adjustment is straightforward and convenient. I wish there was a little more variation available for handle adjustments. It isn’t the most quiet mower but not obnoxiously loud either. The convenience over a gas mower is well worth it. Overall I would recommend.

   Did not do well in long grass. Clogged side discharge chute, caused high battery draw. Convenient height adjustment will allow one to quickly make multiple cuts in areas of tall grass. Adjusting walking speed helps avoiding overload, in high speed, jogging shoes will be required. Second cut was very acceptable. To be fair, the first trial cut the grass was over six inches deep I wanted it cut to two inches. The machine is not designed to deal with making that heavy a cut. Overall, I am pleased with the machine and the battery did complete my residential lot when the grass was at a reasonable length.

   Used this twice now on 1/2 acre, cuts well, albeit I’d like it a tad shorter. Quite heavy to push. Quiet and battery lasts a good hour or so, which is great. Feels a tad plasticky cheap but it’s the cut not the looks. Dot return it! Bought as “used” and pretty perfect.
