This bike ships in a large box, and must be assembled. All necessary tools are included (some Allen wrenches, wenches, and a screwdriver). The manual is well written with diagrams for every step. It read well - not the typical poorly translated “Engrish” manuals I have gotten used to.
Assembly took me about 45 minutes, though I bet I spent 5-10 just clipping off zip ties and removing packing. The steps are all well explained, and none are more complex than “put this in that and tighten the other.” I did find it odd that the manual starts giving instructions on how to fold the bike down before it was fully assembled. There was also a front axel brace installed on my unit, which needed to be removed before the wheel could be attached - the manual did not mention that, and my lack of experience with building bikes had me confused for a moment.
Once assembled, the tires need to be inflated to the values shown on them — mine were 40 PSI max. The battery also must be charged with the surprisingly small charger. The manual says charge time is 5 1/2 hours, but I did not time mine. I just kept an eye on the red light of the charger and unplugged it when it turned green.
The handlebar and seat can be adjusted up and down with a quick release clamp. There are numbered markers on the post so once you find your settings, it is very easy to set them again if you have to shorten them for folding (or for someone else to ride it).
I am 5’ 10” and there was enough adjustment room to set it up for me to ride comfortably.
Folding the bike is done in two steps. There is a quick release on the frame when must be undone, and then pulled to one side to release a pin. Only then will the frame fold over. The handlebar has a similar quick release. With the frame and handlebar folder down, it is quite compact and fits easily in the back storage compartment of my car. The pedals also can be folded flat.
When folded, it did not appear there was any way to lock things in place. Once you figure out where to grip it to pick it up, it is easy, but the first time I tried it, the bike was kinda unfolding.
There are two sets of keys included — three for the ignition, and two for the battery. The battery slides in to a groove, and then the key can be used to lock it in place. To activate the battery, the key can turn from “off” (locked in place) to “on” (locked in place, and activated). A third position is “unlocked”, for removing the battery. There is a charging port on the side of the battery, and another connector where you plug a cable from the bike in to the battery.
On the handlebar is a bell, and another keyhole. A second key is used here to go from “off”, to “on” to “on + lights.” There is a front headlight that is quite bright, and a tail light. When brakes are applied, the tale light flashes.
Although the bike has pedals, they are not required to make it run on the motor. You tap the brake, and then just turn the grip and the bike takes off. And it really takes off. This is a single speed bike, and I wasn’t expecting the small 350 watt motor to be this responsive.
You can ride full on electric without pedaling at all, unlike some expensive eBikes that only run in “pedal assist” mode. I quite like that.
I am only in my first week of owning this bike, and I expect to update this review in the Spring with more observations. For now, the first rides have been surprisingly fun.
I expected the small 16” tires to give a rough ride, but they do not. I tested a particularly bumpy sidewalk to test the front suspension and it worked well.
I expected the smaller motor to have problems on a steep incline in the neighborhood. That hill is enough that my Gotrax scooter barely makes it up. This bike just slowed down to about 9 mph and kept on going. I was pleasantly surprised.
On the handlebar is a simple display that just shows battery level - one to four bars. There is no speedometer or odometer. It would be nice to have both, though I did test speed using a GPS app and saw the bike easily doing the 15 mph speed the manufacture states. As to distance on a charge, I do have a way to verify that. I have been taking trips through the neighborhood, around the block, and am still on my original charge. I plan to take the bike to work and ride it to lunch and see how many days of light travel I can get on the battery.
eBikes are heavy, but since you can quickly remove the battery, you can lighten it a bit for loading it in an out of a car. For storage at home, I leave it set up, but you can fold it down and push the seat down to make it more compact.
The bike has front and rear disc brakes. They work well, though I need to adjust my front brakes. During assembly, I pushed them a bit more than I should have, trying to get the disc in the right place. Mine rub slightly, so I need to adjust that.
Pedaling the bike is okay, but as one would expect from a single speed bike with small wheels, it’s not going to give you the ride experience you get with a full size bike. I could easily pedal around the block, but I don’t expect to ever have to pedal this bike unless my battery runs out on me. I consider this an electric bike with a pedal backup system ;-)
It is winter here in Iowa, so all my test riding has been in sub-freezing temperatures. This is not great for battery life, so I expect it to be even better when temperatures warm up.
No complaints here. I think I am sold on the concept of a folding bike. There’s something really nice about being able to undo two quick releases and fold it down, then just pick it up and set it in the back of the car. If I want to take my other bike anywhere, I have to hook up the bike rack. I can fold and load this bike quicker than I can get the bike rack attached.

So far, with daily use the battery life has continued to last. I'm saving a ton on gas and riding it is also quite fun. The ride is smooth and you can adjust the height if someone taller wants to ride. My friends are all asking where I got it because they want one too! As you can see in the pic, the headlight makes it easy to ride at night too.
Bike has a lot of added features. There are a few different driving modes you can choose from, including just riding it like a normal bike. For me, this has eliminated the need to keep a second bike to use for regular exercise.
Assembly was easy and only took a couple of minutes. I also love that it comes with a warranty so if any problems come in the next year, they will cover it. This means that if the battery is defective, you're not out of luck.
It was very simple to assemble out of the box. There IS a reason the instructions tell you to put on the front fender and headlight first - saves you a minor pain trying to assemble it with the wheel on.
I let it charge while I was putting it together then took it out for a few miles. The battery indicator still says full. I'm not sure if I'll trust it. I let it get a full charge and rode it for a solid hour today and it still stays full battery.
I've had a small battle with the seat post dropping when I go over bumps but I also weigh over 250lbs. There is an adjustable clamp, I'm still just working on finding the sweet spot where it holds up and still easy to pop open the seat clamp.
I went in with pretty low expectations and have been pleasantly surprised by this little guy. It moves my 250 lbs the same speed as everyone else on the bike path - except the serious ebikes. They pass my pretty quick. This is a single speed, like riding a kids bmx bike. The pedals are really only there to get you across a busy street or up a steep hill, both of which are pretty easy with the electric throttle.
Two day Amazon delivery was on time as advertised.
If you're looking for what I was - a (relatively) cheap, fun toy to cruise the bike path and get to the barcade and back, this is it.
Riding it is very enjoyable, and I think it is because of its smooth acceleration. Now I'm riding the bike to the mailbox or the gym almost every day, this bike provides a consistent and joyful experience. The removable battery is a standout feature, effortlessly transforming the e-bike back to a lighter, traditional bike for those times I'm in the mood for more physical exertion. Battery life seems also good, I have never seen it below 1/4 in daily routine. I would recommend it to someone who is looking for an affordable electric bike with solid quality!

It’s easier than thought to assemble this e-bike. The bike comes in a big box with major parts pre-assembled. Only the front wheel, front light, handle and pedals require installation. It took me about an hour to finish the process and the most difficult part is to understand the instructions, which could be something to be improved. Other than that, nothing to complain.
Design:
The overall design is very neat, with a lot of parts adjustable. So it becomes very easy to share between family members and friends. The folding is also made very easy. The front light and rear breaker light are very nice features which makes the ride much safer. The only thing can be improved is the key. There are two different keys needed to operate the bike - battery key and bike key - which can be somehow simplified.
Tuning and riding:
after install the front wheel, the front break probably needs additional tuning but has no instructions. Generally need to fine tune the three screws highlighted in my third photo, by the order, until the break pads and the plate are in good position without interfering. After tuning the break, the ride becomes very smooth and enjoyable. It automatically boost the power when pedaling. Or use handle to manually control the throttle.
The battery is also excellent, providing up to 40 miles of range on a single charge. The bike also has a speed limiter that can be adjusted to ensure safe riding for all riders. Additionally, the bike's reflective tires and LED headlight enhance visibility in low-light conditions, making nighttime rides safer.
The bike's suspension system does a good job of smoothing out bumps and rough terrain, making rides more enjoyable.

Two sets of keys are included, one set for the battery and the other for driving. I found this to be a nice feature to prevent theft. There is a rack to carry a few items on the back with bungee cords, for instance. The bike also has lights, which is another great safety feature. The kickstand provides stable support for its weight without falling over. I appreciate the adjustable handlebar and seat height. The bike is sturdy and foldable, which allows me to conserve space when not using it.
I was surprised by the bike’s speed, although it is referenced in the product description. I would recommend a helmet when riding. It has come in handy for short trips within my neighborhood. I have been using it to go to the community gym and I’m pretty happy about the battery life as I only need to charge it once a week which is way better than the scooter.
It has a pretty good accelerator that can push you up the hill and the speed is about 15Mph so it’s decent enough, but not too fast that you are going to worry about falling off.

Update. It finally quit raining so went for first good ride. Total of 2.85 miles and the power meter still reads full charge. Will say for an older person (like me) with slight balance issues, the smaller wheels are something that is going to take a bit to get use to. Larger wheels have all ways felt more stable, so that is something to consider. Over all, happy with the purchase, but if I had it all to do again, I would get one with larger wheels like I have ridden all my life on pedal bikes.
Update: The bike I ordered, for some reason or other, came with 3 keys for the handlebar switch, but only one for the battery off/on/release switch. I called Go Trax and they said that was unusal, but it would take 10WEEKS to generate the paperwork to get me the extra key. Ace Hardward cannot get the blank required to make one. Guess I will keep trying different stores.
One time i drove this bike to the beach. And play basketball over there a park this you back with another Scooter together with friends. The full battery almost forty miles. I think and the acceleration have a different level. You can choose it . So far my Experience was great. I like it. Easy to use, and easy to store it. and when i charged the battery normally i just separate with them and biring it back to home .One night will be charged. Recommended.
Ordered new wheel with motor. The website says no returns on parts. Call before ordering. So we called but you can’t get anyone on the phone to confirm correct part. Took a chance, spent an hour installing new part and it doesn’t work. It’s the right wheel and motor but just doesn’t work. I wouldn’t recommend the purchase of this bike because you can’t get service on phone and if you get it wet you will likely need service.
Update: after writing this review someone from Gotrax sent an email and offered to send replacements parts or replace the bikes. I opted for motor wheel and battery. After replacing again the bikes still sisnt work. I then discover a controller housed under the battery. I requested two controllers, one for each bike. I was surprised when they agreed to send them. I replaced the controllers and both bikes work again! It appears the controllers are vulnerable to water. While it would be helpful to get service by phone or email without having to writing poor review, I’m pleased Gotrax sent me all the repair parts and offered to replace the bikes if needed.
The last thing was the motor controller below the battery which was the final key. I learned how to change all these parts by myself and was more than ecstatic when it actually ran perfectly. I now know how to change everything on the bike lol! But on the bright side, the company would also like the faulty part back so that they can review it to find out what could have went wrong. Assemble: it is pretty smooth. A quick tip: I would suggest to read through the user manual before the assemble process.
Quality and performance: good quality bike, a little heavier than a normal mountain bike but I can lift it up with no problem. Make sure pump up the tire before the first ride. It came with around 50% air. It runs very smoothly and fast, make sure wear a helmet. It makes uphill so easy and make a bike ride much more enjoyable.
Riding with a wagon, no pressure at all. I need to keep reminding my older son to slow down and need to remind him that it is about time to go home which it has been the total opposite while we ride with normal bikes LOL. I am happy with this bike. My son is happier.
This is a heavy bike (in a good way). Although it's foldable the build quality is sturdy and doesn't feel like it's falling apart or wobbly at all.
Tips:
INFLATE YOUR TIRES! THEY DON'T COME INFLATED! Saw so many reviews about flat tires, read the manual!
If your bike isn't starting, you need both keys inserted on the battery and the front! (I made this mistake)

We did have a part that broke when I was putting the bikes together. I contacted Fiona in customer service, emailed here a link to the PO to verify that I was the original owner (standard practice) along with a picture of the broken part. She had a replacement sent to me immediately! I am very satisfied with her service and recommend this company and their products!

It's good that it could be folded and has latches in many parts, very flexible. We're glad that we can put this bike with another 20" bike and a small balance bike in the trunk together. Then, our family could enjoy biking together. We already enjoyed it for two weeks in the row.
I love the orange color which is bright and safer to be seen. I like that the battery is removable, so it can be like a normal bike if there is any restrictions on the electric bike at somewhere. But, it's much easier to ride with the battery and power on.
The installation could take some time, especially it is my first time to do it. But, it could be a one person work. The instruction is clear. I followed it to install successfully and understood this bike more thorough the installation process. Also kind of a fun part.
We used to have a 14" electric bike, but this 16" one is way better for riding experience.

As for assembly, the manufacturer provides clear instructions and guidelines, even with tools. It took me about 10–15 minutes to complete the installation.

Overall, this bike is exactly what I was looking for, nice design, great stability, and at 15.5 mph, more than enough power and the size good for a petite woman.
Excellent performance, great value for money … high recommended.
The only downside is that it’s a little heavy, so carrying it up stairs isn’t easy.
I ordered this bike for my wife and my son .They are very happy with this electric bike .They are very comfortable when riding. I have been super happy with them so far and would recommend them to anyone looking for a folding electric bike.The range seems to be great on them as most of our rides have been 10 to 15 miles and each ride has only depleted one of the five bars on the battery.I’ve given this item a 5 star.
One of my favorite features is the 3 ways riding function: Electric Mode, Pedal Assist Mode, or just riding it like a normal bike. I switch between modes depending on my energy level or how far I plan to go.
