My husband and I can ride it as well as you can see, he's 6 ft.
Do not get this soaked aka wash your new bday gift. Even though it has a black box protecting the battery and wires it is not waterproof and has cracks. If you do... and you notice it clicks but doesn't move. You'll have to open it up and dry it off. It's a pain in the a$$, long story short mom to the rescue. Small puddles are fine just don't drowned the damn thing.
I put this together by myself, took about 20-30mins. It was pretty easy, I'd say the only hard part was getting the front tire on, that took me a hot min because the bike is heavy. You can't flip it on its seat because it will break/ stress the plastic. Well I guess you can but it might not look new afterwards.
It has a little shock system but nothing compared to gas or "actual" dirt bikes. My son likes to take it off jumps and it manages but definitely not recommend. It can't handle it. Little ramps sure, but when I say jumps. I mean my son jumped a flight of park stairs with it. 😳 Yes he survived, however, I think all the other moms started to ventilate. 😂
Anyways awesome gift. Goes about the speed it says. Battery life is accurate to description. Also has front and back brake.
Change the motor sprocket: This is a great upgrade! You lose a few mph top speed (hardly noticeable around the yard) but the improved acceleration and throttle response at lower speeds make me highly recommend it. The factory is 11 tooth, the replacement is 9 tooth- changing the gear ratio from 7.27:1 to 8:1. I'm not sure if it's sold on Amazon, but search for electric scooter part SPR-2509C
Stock batteries aren't very good: Use the factory batteries until they die and then replace them with something higher quality. I replaced the batteries on our used one with three quality SLA batteries (Interstate DCM0012 12Ah) These last longer and seem to deliver higher current than the budget batteries the bikes ship with. The factory harness is soldered to the battery terminals. Dorman sells 10 - 12 ga right angle connectors (Dorman 84172) that work great for the SLA terminals and are available on Amazon or at most auto parts stores.
The front fork isn't the best but it's lasted three years on the old one. The rear shock was clunking on the brand new bike when it arrived. We unscrewed the lower spring perch a few turns so that the spring tension lowered. This kept the shock plunger from rebounding and hitting the upper stop.
If you have decent electrical skills (being able to identify the positive and negative wires of the battery harness, splice, and solder) then you should upgrade to a pulse charger (like the Granite Digital Battery Saver) or microprocessor controlled battery charger (like Powerstream) The factory charging port runs through the motor controller and wouldn't work for me unless I used the constant amp charger it came with.
It works great for the money however, we have had six of these and almost all of them die within 6 to 10 months
It’s still a lot cheaper than buying gas, powered one, and eliminate the smell of gas or getting burned by the carburetor
My son has tried riding this after it rained and it doesn't ride as well as a traditional dirt bike. It gets stuck and unable to grip the ground to move. I would recommend this bike for a child who is just starting to learn to ride and is on a budget. One of the drawbacks is the weight but that is normal with any bike.
Bike is a little smaller than I thought. It will fit even a 7 year old who is really coordinated, and I’ve seen some 5 year olds who could possibly manage it. But just about right for a 9 to 11 year old. But sturdy enough, fast enough and fun enough for even an adult to ride. I’m lil over 6 ft and 220 lbs, and although I look pretty gangly riding on it, it still is very zippy and fun. And the two of them ride on it together no problem.
I would like to see a “Razor 750” or 850...something with bigger wheels and frame, speed lil faster, maybe 25mph.
Easy assembly
Nice looking
Good throttle response

I charged it the recommended time before the first use. Gave it to my son for his 8th birthday and after 15 minutes of use it just won’t move. Battery indicators say it full. Yes, I can take it apart and look at it over but just the same it didn’t last 15 minutes.
I will update after checking the connections.
Update: I troubleshooted the problem using YouTube. I had to take the seat and plastic off to get to the wire harnesses. Checked all connections and the fuse. It was a loose connection. Started right up after. But while I was in there I electrical taped all the connections to keep them secure and so that they are water tight. I also used seal tape to seal the “motor” cover to the frame to keep water from getting in this fall. Total fix time 2 hours . My son loves it and the battery time is close to an hour at full tilt. I’ll upgrade my review to four stars.
Front suspension is pretty bad for off road
I think the rsf is slightly better build quality and frame (and wheels for sure)
I also don’t like the handlebars I put the rsf handlebars on the mx and it’s way more comfortable for me
If you want an off-road e bike I’d recommend the new crf
I still have fun on it but I don’t take it off road which kind of defeats the purpose
Update: I bought this is 2022 and the summer of 2024, it stopped working. It looks as if it's charging, but when you go to pull the throttle back to make it go, it does nothing. Same thing happened to his friend's bike. So I advise to get the 3 yr warranty instead of the 2 year warranty
